Time

In room7 we have been learning about time. In time I  learnt 0'clock like 7:00 and 5:00.I also learnt half past like half past 6.

Long jump

This week we learnt how to do long jump.Long jump is when you jump as long as you can. You  need to bend your arms like you're running. Remember to run step and then jump as long as you can. 

Swim for life

Last week the class went to the Te Rapa pools!The first thing that I did was practicing to do a starfish. when I had free time I tried to swim across to show my swimming teacher (Barbra) but Barbara didn't look a bit!I tried to show the class but in steed  they gust laughed and laughed and laughed., so i just swam by my self (not very FUN at all)and then wait Hayley came along and said do you want to play tag with me I Thought ''well, That's a game to do free style and i can do free style '' so i said YESSss so I played  tag with Hayley.

Paper planes

My paper plane went zooming high into the sky!

my paper plane was gliding and twirling like a whirl pool!

The plane was floating and gliding down then...CRASH SPLAT on the grass and then its all wet,dirty and soggy!   Every time I fly the plane it goes nose first and it always crashes up side down! My little white paper plane does well it doesn't always land in the grass it always land in the bush as well! My plane went so high that it went higher then the school roof!

Rarotonga

One day on the 8th of June I went to Rarotonga. I nearly brang the drink raro to rarotonga! I went in to the freezing pool that reminded me about something! One day in the freezing pool, a little boy said"Mum look I'm in the ocean mum, look!" Every day I walked down to the cafe and had some breakfast! The hotel I stayed in was Edge water! My hotel number was 204! I went with my poppa!

Mask

This is my mask. I really liked smudging the purple and sprinkling the glitter on my mask. I  did not enjoy using pastel on my mask.

We made masks to represent ourselves.
I enjoyed painting  the base on my mask!
 I painted the base coulor purple because it's my favourite coulor!
    I added glitter  to make me sparkle!
What I found difficult was cutting the mask!
Next time I will add more glitter!

Growing Crystals

First, me and my class chose a sharpy and a painted popsicle stick. Then we tied the string on the popsikeil stick and then Mrs Natusch  made this thing that is made by water and sugar. Next Mrs Natusch  poured the mixture into the cup. Last of all me and my class put the cups on the widow sill.

The glow worm lifecycle

This is a glow worm lifecycle. First the adult fly lays eggs and the eggs stay for three weeks and then it hatches into a  glow worm for nine months and turns into a pupa for two weeks. Then hatches into a adult fly and it stays for three then it dies and starts all over again.

The gondola

The first picture is in the gondola. When mum and      
dad said"it's ok you won't fall. It has been here since i was  born and  no one has fell out! Then when i was in the gondola i felt a little  bit scaered because i am a little bit scared of heights. At the top their was a jelly belly shop (a jelly been shop). when i went in the jellybean shop I got to choose 20 small lollie bags filled with different flavoured jelly beans. 3 of the flavours I got was bubblegum, toasted marshmellow & mango. For 20 lollie bags it is $14.
We went to the top of the bridge and we saw people on the luge and it looked scary so we went back down the gondola.

The second picture is me and dad on the bridge where we saw the peple on the luge racing down.

Waitomo Caves

Yesterday room7 went to the Waitomo caves.First room7 went on the bus to the waitomo caves next we went into the cave! When i went in i felt very skaered ekspisherly when i went in the boat!But when i hopet on the boat i did not fell so skeared at all! after  that we went to the museum  and then we had a lesson last of all we had a bush walk.
